We are offering this workshop for intermediate French Students – adults, who wish to maintain and improve their proficiency over the summer months. The outline below describes what will be covered.

Members: $200; Non-Members: $220

Time: 5:45 pm – 7:15 pm – 90 minutes
Location:  This workshop will be conducted via Zoom.  You will be mailed the link before classes start

Using the subjunctive tense

Give your opinion; express emotions; justify your position

Music and Emotions

Giving advice with:  si + present tense + future tense or si + present tense + imperative.  Using the present participle

Express emotions; talk about music; give advice

Dreams and Regrets

Verb tense – past conditional

Talk about your dreams and obstacles.  Express regrets.

Education and Society

Using the “discours rapporté” in the present and past

Give your opinion on education. Report information.

Media and Information

Using the passive voice. Using terms to express uncertainty – “selon” and “d’après”.

Present facts and events. Give opinions on the media.
