Adult Beginner 1 – A1.1

This course is for absolute beginners – les débutants – who have never taken French before.  We highly recommend that you start with the Fall-Part I class and continue on with Parts II and III in the Winter and Spring.  If you wish to join this class after the Fall trimester, you must receive permission from our Director of Education via email at [email protected].

In this course the students will be introduced to the basics of the French language including vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.  Student will learn how to:

• Greet people
• Understand and be able to pose simple questions
• Introduce yourself and share personal information
• Talk about your tastes and activities
• Ask for and give directions … and more
