Adult Beginner 1 – A1.1

This course is for absolute beginners – les débutants – who have never taken French before.  We highly recommend that you start with the Fall-Part I class and continue on with Parts II and III in the Winter and Spring.  If you are unable to select the Winter-Part II or the Spring-Part III class, this means that you have not taken the Fall-Part I class.  In that case, we suggest you look into taking private lessons with us until you have caught up or contact our director of education at [email protected].

In this course the students will be introduced to the basics of the French language including vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.  Student will learn how to:

• Greet people
• Understand and be able to pose simple questions
• Introduce yourself and share personal information
• Talk about your tastes and activities
• Ask for and give directions … and more
